Re: USA Africa Dialogue Series - Fw: Mallam Nuhu Ribadu is our Man of the Year!

There is only one real choice for Man and Woman of the Year (or may I say, Century?):

Olu Jacobs and Patience Ozokwor for the extraordinary work they have done to bring Nigerian culture to hundreds of millions of people around the world. Perhaps, we should accord them the honor of Man and Woman of the Century. They certainly deserve such an honor.

The result of our POLL on who should be our man/woman of the
year is in with some interesting comments (see below). While some members voted
at our Causes page, others simply emailed their nominations. Interestingly,
some members nominated themselves!

given to Late General Andrew Owozi Azazi for his gallantry in the face of
insecurity in the Country, while woman of the year should be all the Nigerian
Mothers who have lost children, brothers and husbands since the menace of BOKO
HARAM.

an enigma – Abraham Ajor

Mrs. Omolewa Ahmed, wife of the executive
Governor of Kwara state is the woman of the year 2012

the midst of pressure

None of them merited it…all are corrupt!
