The result of our POLL on who should be our man/woman of the
year is in with some interesting comments (see below). While some members voted
at our Causes page, others simply emailed their nominations. Interestingly,
some members nominated themselves!
And the winner is:

I am nominating Pastor Tunde Bakare of SAVE Nigeria
GROUP for Leading Nigerians out on 2012 Fuel Pump Price Increment Championed by
Finance Minister and Central Bank Lord.
· 
In my opinion the Man of the Year should be
given to Late General Andrew Owozi Azazi for his gallantry in the face of
insecurity in the Country, while woman of the year should be all the Nigerian
Mothers who have lost children, brothers and husbands since the menace of BOKO
HARAM.
· 
My choice is Mrs Ngozi Okonji-Iweala for being
an enigma – Abraham Ajor
· 
Mrs. Omolewa Ahmed, wife of the executive
Governor of Kwara state is the woman of the year 2012
· 
Mallan Nuhu Ribadu, for his uprightness even in
the midst of pressure
· 
None of them merited it…all are corrupt!
