Dompere, Kofi Kissi. 2013. Fuzziness and Foundations of Exact and Inexact Sciences. New York, NY: Springer.
I just finished reading this great book by my colleague and esteemed Professor of Economics at Howard University/The Mecca/Bison Country/The Hilltop Mwalimu Osagyefo Kofi Kissi Dompere, and it is no exaggeration when I say that it was a scrumptious/delicious/delightful/superb/luscious/delectable experience.
Inspired by the system of Pharaonic concepts of opposites, the Dogon concept of Duality, and the Adinkra symbolism of thought in polarity, duality and logical continuum, Osagyefo Dompere has given us a gem on fuzziness and soft computing.
In this book, Osagyefo Dompere critically analyzes the fuzzy rational foundations of the structure of exact and inexact sciences in terms of the epistemological space as distinguished from the ontological space. His major concern, therefore, is with the problem of demarcation.
This book is a must read for anyone interested in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Sankofa Phenomena/Methodology.
