I was just looking through the  folder into which i filter my USA/Africa  posts when i saw the award news.
Congratulations aplenty. i n  some of the congratulatory posts, people were  angry
that while other foreign bodies can recognize your contributions , Nigerian government has yet to.  Well, iam almost scared that they would defile an honor so well merited were they to give it. But then, it wont be the government that "awards" it . It woulcd rather be the people on whose behalf a medocre government is acting. Congrats.
