News : JTF war crime in Maiduguri @BBC World tomorrow 12:30pm
"Our education should refine us beyond...westophobia. Where they do well, we give them thumbs up; where they get mischievious or outrightly mess up, we dole out the knocks. We should be able to sieve out the grain from the chaff
....
We musn't always view things from a static lens. The lens of objectivity is never stationary. It moves as the object under focus moves so as to be able to capture it. That the British did what they did in Afghanistan, Iraq at the behest of America, and in the humiliation of the Ottoman empire is not enough reason to not listen to them when they make objective remarks, painstaking research and undertake to do life-threatening documentaries.
Where do you put the crime of Slave trade and colonialism? Do you know what that has done to our psyche as a people? Despite all these we still allow them establish High commissions as well as British councils in our countries. We willingly sign up to be members of the commonwealth of nations and our Baba Iyabo [former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo] built for the her Majesty, the Queen of England a house from foundation to roof when she visited Nigeria by way of CHOGM.
My questions are
i) is the JTF professional in handling the insurgency in Borno?
ii) What is your general assessment of uniformed men in Nigeria armed and unarmed?
iii) Since "BBC" as an appendage of British hegemony and diplomatic tool seems to be the issue here, would you have less reservations if the same documentary were to be done by Iran's Press TV or France's 24, Qatar's Al-Jazeera, South Africa's SABC or Germany's DW? Or would you equally ask that Iran does a documentary first on their revolution; France too on their revolution, invasion of Belgium, Napoleon Bonaparte's wars and other sundry squirmishes? Or would you ask SABC to first do a documentary on Shaka de Zulu, apartheid, rape, AIDs, crime, Soweto, and the killing of miners and the poor Zimbabwean driver by police first before we listen to them? Or Germany to first apologise to the world for what Hitler put us through even as readers of history and in particular the Jews? By the way I am wondering do Jews drive Mercedes, BMW, Volkswagen or Audi?

You needn't answer that. I was only wondering out loud.

Let the BBC first air their atrocities in Iraq and Afghanistan and their conquest of the Ottoman empire where the worst atrocities on earth were committed then their aim will be altruistic. They have always used this type of perfidy to survive in Europe thru the ages under the guise of diplomacy. Turaki
