USA Africa Dialogue Series - Sharing information on past "Ndaba" conferences to resolve national issues in Africa...

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

Since recent electoral challenges in Ghana (2012) and Kenya (2013), some scholars are clamoring for national conferences (an "Ndaba" of sort) to resolve the issues at stake. Happily, an African scholar in Austria shared the following useful article about past national conferences in many African countries (including the Republic of Benin).

Below is a citation that some of our people (in Professor Aluko's beautiful "My People" greeting phraseology) may like to reference, if they are thinking about "Ndaba" situations to resolve electoral and other crises in Ghana, Kenya and other places!
