Some of the remarkable achievements in 2012 where the creation of coders4africaradio.com which allowed the African developer community to engage in knowledge transfer and reach a wider audience in regards to the apps/projects they were working on. This tool also allowed C4A to communicate its goals, visions and strategy to its Pan-African ecosystem at wide. We launched our signature Practical Project Based Training (PPBT) in Senegal where we provided 20 developers with free training in the standards and best practices of Software engineering and soft business skills.
In addition, the C4A online community saw an increased number of registered members and groups; hosted and attended several events in the Africa, US, Canada and Europe which led to increased visibility and public relations; and ultimately sealed new partnerships and collaborations.
