My name is Anna Catalani and I am an academic from the University of Lincoln, UK.
I have been working on issues relating to Yoruba material culture and Western Museums since 2001.
I am now working on a project looking at the African Diaspora in the UK, applied theatre and the re-interpretation of African intangible heritage, through museum objects (in the UK).
I am hoping to set a collaboration with a museum or art centre in Nigeria so that the re-interpretation of museum collections can also happen via social media (so linking the African diaspora in the UK with African visitors in Nigeria, through a creative dialogue).
I was wondering if any of you could help me to liaise with a museum/museum professional in Nigeria, who could be interested in the project.
I hope to hear from some of you!
Kind regards,
Anna Catalani
