You know what I just found out? Nearly 70% of sub-Saharan Africans don't have electricity.
Moms have c-sections in the dark. Kids can't get refrigerated vaccines. Students do their homework at night with just a candle or a flashlight. Businesses can't grow. Extreme poverty is nearly impossible to beat.
Right now, there's a bipartisan bill in the House that can change this - a bill that would bring power to 50 million Africans for the first time. I just added my name and asked Congress to act. Will you join me?
