Thanks for the clarification. However, please consider the suggestions that I made regarding establishing an endowed fund through the university to fund the journal in perpetuity. Once an official fund and account are set up and given the necessary recognition, you and the journal team can then solicit funds from researchers, who will include Africans like us, who are interested in scholarship on and about the continent. 

This is not a new phenomenon. I have worked with many projects that were initially funded by foundations in the United States and other developed countries but which soon ran out of money. Those projects that engaged in fund raising on their own after the seed money had been used up are still operational today.
