As part of the activities marking the one year in office of Governor Rochas Okorocha in Imo State, the Governor among other things, precisely on the 29^th May 2012, signed the Imo State Law No 12 of 2012 named Imo State of Nigeria, Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Law.
