Call to Support the ASUU Strike through Mass Action on Facebook and Other Online Social Networks
Olumide Otitoju:
I have an idea, what if all Nigerian students make this strike issue... trend on social media come October 1.
If we are scared of protesting physically, we shouldn't be scared of protesting on social networks;update different status about the strike, use ASUU strike pictures as profile pictures... for that one day, post on the Presidents's wall, post on politicians' walls, make [the] ASUU strike [ an information] trend and let's hope international awareness would be brought to our plight and we pray something is done.
Do your own part and broadcast this message to your contacts on BBM or whatsapp or Facebook or any social media.
It will cost you just a little and if we can all endeavour to do our part,I believe something would be done.
