Who, if I cried out, would hear me among the Angelic orders?
"Dateline London" discussed the impasse/ impotence over Syria – in which programme I learned - and I must have got it right if I did indeed learn – that they (you know who they are) can go ahead and bomb as much as they like and do everything that needs to be done, Saudi Arabia is going to foot the bill that will be incurred for the removal of Mr. Assad.
It sounds like a contract.
The Arab League itself hasn't gone that far on their fellow Arab - it's the old Sunni versus Shia on the international scale of Justice - and the paradox is that same bunch of Human Rights bandits that supported Saddam against Iran are now blowing hard for the removal of Assad in the name of democracy , of which they are not guilty.
Of course if a resolution was presented to the UN about bombing Israel – no doubt about it, the Arab League would be unanimous about it, in the name of Human Rights, in the name of Democracy and in the name of the sort of Justice about which they are absolutely guilty!
Just now, I'm listening to radio.string.quartet.vienna. Posting Joe (Celebrating Weather Report – live) – track 4 "Peace " is my theme for the day. You know the extent to which music can influence the mood you're in - for me, after all that live reggae and soukous last night and listening to Joseph Prince and Joel Osteen this morning, I'm at peace with self and with the world. It's just the warmongers who want to spill some more blood in the name of the wicked old devil that wants to get the upper hand in the Senate and then blame it on collateral damage later on, after its done.
America will lose a lot of friends and be punished if they do that. They should call for a ceasefire and negotiate peace. Ditto with Iran.
Re- "What can we do to stop the killing? "– how do we achieve peace – the answer is not by declaring war – in the name of superior weapons. I suppose that Le Figaro and Le Monde are still going on about them wanting to punish Assad. Rhetorical question coming up: France, who is going to punish you for your many crimes against humanity, committed in the name of colonialism, in Algeria for example?
The list in long, sans fin, infini!

Hitler was a bad guy alright. And as for our dear, blessed United States "super power of the free world", who - if not the Almighty is going to punish you for dropping a nuclear device on innocent people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki and bombing innocent defenceless Vietnamese peasants with Napalm in their own country, Vietnam?
The question remains, how does the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate go about making peace not just in the Middle East but in Syria?
