USA Africa Dialogue Series - Read this: Our educational system is so messed up!

Global Studies Centre, Owerri, Imo state, Nigeria and Montclair State University, New Jersey, USA through its African Institute for Global Critical Creative and Caring Community of Inquiry (AICCOCCOI) Study centre Enugu State, Nigeria are neither approved nor recognized by the Federal Government of Nigeria as contained in a circular referenced HMSE/NUC/27/103 of November 27, 2000 and another circular referenced FME/S/212/vol./IX/305 of June 1, 1994 on the non recognition of the degree of foreign institution whose course are run in Nigeria.  Therefore the centre are illegal and nay certificate obtained from any of the campuses of the institutions or any of the study centres in Nigeria is not recognized by the Federal Government of Nigeria for purpose of employment and further studies.

Findings from the Federal Ministry of Education as it concerns those staff with Certificate from Pacific Western University, Denver, Colorado U.S.A.

• Is that Pacific Western University, Denver, Colorado, U.S.A, is not on this Ministry's list of accredited institution in U.S.A Thus:

1. The Doctor of Philosophy (Education) awarded to Akpagu Cletus Ikechukwu in August, 2011 by Pacific Western University, U.S.A cannot be evaluated.

2. That the Doctor of Philosophy (Political Science) awared to Nwanekwe V. Chukwuemeka in August 2009 by Pacific Western University, U.S.A. cannot be evaluated.

3. The Doctor of Philosophy (Education Management and Planning) awarded to Nwigwe E. Nnanna in August 2011 by the pacific Western University, U.S.A. cannot be evaluated.

4. The Doctor of Philosophy (Public Administration) awarded to Ojiuzor E. Paulinus in August 2011 by Pacific Western University, U.S.A. cannot be evaluated.

5. The Doctor of Philosophy (Education Administration and Planning) awarded to Nwebonyi Raymond in August, 2011 by Pacific Western University, U.S.A. cannot be evaluated.

And on and on and on it goes... Wahala dey. What is happening to Nigeria's educational system is water and fire damage combined. Kongi is right, we asked for statesmen, we got executioners.
