Please click on the link below. I disagree with Malorie Blackman; the library of old is dead and dying. We should not mourn its loss, but celebrate new opportunities to mSke children travel the world in that library in the sky called the Internet.
Educational leaders should see a digital bridge where they see a digital divide. It is a civil rights issue, in most societies these days, people, especially young ones are opting to read their smartphones instead of books. We should meet them where they are - and read to them.
A child should have free, appropriate access to the library. It is called the Internet. In the 21st century, the library lives - wirelessly.
