And Ayo Fayose Opined" They said I am an HND holder and that Ekiti is a state of professors. You do not need to be a professor to know that someone is hungry. You do not need to be a doctor to know that somebody needs support. It is innate for you to show love and kindness towards people".
whereas Outgoing Govenor John Kayode Fayemi,PhD holder and former visiting Professor would be leaving office on October 15 anniversary of the Birth of Fela Anikulapo Kuti... Fela was known in his day, to his numerous fans, as Augustine because of his protuding Head. In Yoruba Language a protuding head is known as Ogo, pronounced in English as Augur and so the name Augustine given to Fela by his Fans..
Fela was born in 1938 the year the Augustinian monks came to settle in Nigeria precisely in Jos where you have the Augustinian monastery and the Saint Augustine Seminary.Saint Augustine and Fela have been described as womanisers and Philosophers.Saint Augustine has been described as the greatest thinker to have come out of Africa and Fela the
Greatest Musician to have come out of Africa.
