Thanks for the education. I wish Nigerians would always think objectively and in terms of performance instead of some primordial ethnic considerations.

Subject: NigerianID | Re: President Jonathan, National Security and Federal Character
Emmanuel Uzo Obi:
You sometimes surprise me with these your episodically narrow and very ethnic views, because most often you transcend them.
You look only narrowly at the Security angle, and don't wonder whether there are enough positions to go around ALL the ethnic groups in the country, which are MORE than just Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa and Fulani. If you look at just one sector, and there are no - or not enough - Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa and Fulani - why should that become a major contention, when there are at least 11 other major-minority groups, and maybe three hundred other ethnic groups in Nigeria? Should performance not be your majority priority?
Now let me give you some few things to ponder about, and allow you to come back to me:
________________________________
Secretary to the FG: Anyim Pius Anyim
Deputy Senate President: Ike Ekwerenmadu
Deputy Speaker of House: Emeka Ihedioha
----------------------------------------------------------
Minister of Finance/Coordinating Minister: Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala
Petroleum Minister: Diezani Allison-Madueke [I add her for effect here.]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Population Commission: Chief Eze Duruiheoma
Revenue Allocation Commission: Engr. Elias Mbam
CBN: Godwin Emefiele
SEC: Mrs. Arumah Oteh
NSE: Oscar Onyema
Economic Adviser to the FGN - Dr. Nwanze Okidegbe
Wages & Salaries Commission head - Chief Richard Egbule
Debt Management Office head - Dr. Albert Nwankwo
Bureau of Public Procurement head - Engr. Emeka Eze
And what about the Super Eagles Sector, the recently announced 23-man team:
--------------
Coach: Stephen Keshi
Goalkeepers: Austin Ejide and Chigozie Agbim [Balance: Vincent Enyeama]
Midfielders: Mikel Obi, Michael Uchebo [Balance: Ogenyi Onazi, Ramon Azeez, and Reuben Gabriel]
Defenders: Elderson Echiejile, Godfrey Oboabona, Azubuike Egwuekwe, Kenneth Omeruo [Balance: Efe Ambrose Juwon Oshaniwa, Joseph Yobo, and Kunle Odunlami]
Forwards: Emmanuel Emenike and Uche Nwofor [Balance: Babatunde Michael, Victor Moses, Osaze Odemwingie, Ahmed Musa, Shola Ameobi]
------------
Go Eagles!....I don't care where they come from,,,,and that is what should be of importance to us.
So we should all be careful what we put our microscope on....there are other sectors in Nigeria besides the Security Sector, the Legislative Sector or the Financial Sector...or even the Sports Sector.
And there you have it...
