What is this Ekiti people? Why did INEC allow this kind of food campaign on the day of election? Are these bags of rice or flour or both? This is despicable.
The day of reckoning is coming. May Ekiti masses regret what they have done, if what I saw in the picture is true.

Prof Aluko's last Sunday Musing, it seems to me, has as a matter-of-factly cleared the air on most, if not all, the seemingly critical gaps that gave the rumour mongers and mischief makers a field day to perpetrate their campaign of calumny against the incumbent governor. The well intended programmes of Fayemi and all the activities and execution should make any genuine Ekiti who has been misled my those I call enemy of genuine development, enemy of our dear motherland, Ekiti, to bow their heads in shame, and seek forgiveness from Baba God.A true and good leader does not go at the pace of the people he leads. He sees far ahead of them, provides for them NOT what they WANT but what they NEED to advance the relevance of their existence on planet earth. A typical example was when the three Premiers of extant regions were given 3 million pounds each to develop their regions, the East spent its own, building government staff Quarters for the civil servants, the North spent its money constructing the wall round the Caliphate, ythe West under Awolowo spent the money to attend to a more enduring legacy, free education, road, water and coal-driven electricity. Even at the time there were westerners who were antagonistic, and still are. The wisdom is the need to tower above those you lead while they are to trust your leadership. Some governments play populism, gave out motorcycles for commercial riders. It make them popular and could even secure such governors a second term, but how far it go, when the youth are no longer interested in tailoring, carpentry, auto mechanic, brick laying, etc? Some cyber gladiators have become somewhat diasporaphobic to the degree that what they have against Fayemi is, simply, what they term as diaspora gorilla tactics. How can Omo a ton rinwa, take over governance and lord it over them. Simply because he does not play politics the way they are used to..., forgetting that it took the combination of internal and external "gorilla" forces to dislodge the Babangida, and later Abacha regimes! Fayemi had played a key role in bringing about the civilian government, except that what has been playing for the past 15 or so years under PDP was NOT what we had struggled and hoped for. The dream was hijacked and aborted, as we now witness in the June 21 election.Niyi Osundare's poem is elegiac and those who can correctly process it would agree with the poet that what Ekiti used to be known for: integrity, honesty, diligence, character (Omoluwabi), courage and redemptive violence, have all been compromised. Hence the dirge on the true Ekiti persona. I know and believe that when we all have learnt our lesson, that decapitation is not the right Panacea for a Headache. Ekiti shall resurrect again, and stronger.Dasylva AdemolaSent from my BlackBerry 10 smartphone.

Kayode Fayemi {Re: Fayose Is Constitutionally Ineligible To Run For GovernorIBK , Thanks a lot for being a realist and not supinely imbibing the
trash that has been postulated by many home based and diaspora
analysts and commentators . Those who are familiar with Yoruba and
Ekiti schools of thought and philosophy know why JKF lost the Ekiti
governorship election . Heaping tonnes of praise on his performance is
of no use . There are rules of engagement and even that of separation
which modernity including internet and social media can not ignore in
a cultural enviroment . Ekitis are all proud of Fayemi as a person .
This is a good achievement which does not mean automatic second term .
Remember we have Egbe Omo Oduduwa and Egbe Omo Olofin in time past as
different approaches to win a battle . What is the difference between
Oduduwa and Olofin !
Fayemi need not bother himself again to govern Ekiti . He should look
forward to bigger roles . Whenever he wants to meet the masses in the
future , he must do so without publicity , without aides and without
other friendenemies .
He should also analyse the analysis of his government and the analysis
of his rejection on June 21st 2014 .
