Well….. this is what I wrote to a friend this morning:"if they play like they did against Colombia, the Germans, who  have played some of the best football, will execute them."

Although I  don't like to see national humiliation of this scale, they have been delusional and have benefited from the brutality their midfield, the aimless frenetic pace they have played at, some dubious referring, and their home advantage. No doubt the loss of Neymar and Thiago Silva made a difference, but making David Luiz captain, and playing playground football!  When you have "Fred" as your main striker, you know how mediocre they are. Riots all over Brazil, perhaps?

As I wrote earlier, I thought of changing my mind to Brazil winning when this match started..  Why?  Even the ball boys were fired up singing the Brazilian anthem - and Luiz and the goal keeper Julio Cesar were holding up Neymar's No. 10 jersey in an emotional move!

But I had made my prediction...and lived with it....Germany wins, but I did not expect it to be this heavy!
