FINAL - Brazil 1, Germany 7: Hosts humiliated as ruthless Germans book place in the final
Posted on Jul 08 via Gianluca Nesci
There are really no words.
Germany are back in the World Cup final for the first time since 2002 after humiliating Brazil on home soil, scoring a remarkable seven goals to stun a team and a country that had such high hopes coming into this match.
Thomas Muller opened the scoring in the 10th minute, and the German onslaught began shortly after.
Goals from Miroslav Klose (23rd minute), Toni Kroos (24th and 26th minute), Sami Khedira (29th minute) and Andre Schurrle (69th and 79th minute) equaled the Selecao's largest ever defeat in World Cup history after an injury time goal from Oscar broke the clean sheet.
Just incredible.
