I do not think Breitbart had a cogent point and the comparison with bomb is misplaced. The connotation of Obama being asleep suggests he has an ultimate responsibility. I disagree.
While Ebola flared, more than 45 African Heads of State ( complete with entourages that can be more than the annual budget of a village where Ebola is killing scores) flew to the US to be wined and dined - but never made Ebola a rallying cry. Why should Obama be awake when African leaders appear not to know the time of the day? Well, philanthropist Micheal Blomberg did not put native concerns on the Blomberg Philanthropies' US-Africa Summit Agenda to have nudged Obama. I guess if Africa and her people are snoring, Obama can choose to sleep.
Coming to think of it, where is the African medical society in America? How many have had anything to say or a hand to lift when ordinary people - beyond national borders - try to rally support for the equipments? Even the nationals of the affected countries cause so much confusion in their pigeon-hole mindedness. They say are holding or have held national meetings to talk about Ebola.
If you point to the ineffectiveness of an uncoordinated approach on this common pandemic, some will attack with nonsense because this is supposed to be their "national Ebola." Some will beat their chests like gorilla in a rain forest to stress the point of their national, organizing leaderships/meetings on Ebola. This would have been comical if it did not rival senselessness while people are dying. Okay, people should call the White House and state their country - for the drones? That is - if we have to follow that national senselessness.
For Pete's sake - this is a Continental issue! that can easily spread beyond regions. Hopefully, the African community and the African Union can step up.
Where are the medical equipments? Is the Africa Diaspora concerned? If not, why should Obama?
Nb: If these were Hispanic or Asian countries, you would have heard of concerted action; not fragmentized people calling the White House.
MsJoe

Too bad you missed my point. Sending drones with medical equipment should be a healthy
addition/ alternative to sending bombs, right?
Are you seriously suggesting that a pandemic of this severity should not merit emergency action
on the part of all the world powers. Half of the population of Liberia and Sierra Leone
are at severe risk. This is a greater emergency than in Gadaffi 's Libya. We can pontificate
later but for now we need all non-lethal assistance.
BTW the headline was not mine but that of the Breitbart author.
Even so I think he has a point and I stand by it. About Bangura, well I don't have the time
to gossip about him.

At first I thought that it was the eloquent sheikh bangura, back, from exile, not with a whimper this time, but with a bang, since the headline "Obama sleeps while the ebola virus kills Africans " sounds so very much like a preamble to his usual often quite disgusting and unjustified anti-Barack Obama diatribes.
( Some say, that the animosity is partly a result of jealousy and a feeling of inferiority or insecurity....
First of all, Brother Obama can - and is surely doing what can be done; delivering "tons of much needed medical equipment to Sierra Leone and Liberia" or even locking Sierra Leone down for a few days, is not the whole problem or the solution,
Dear Gloria in excelsis Emeagwali ,
Seriously, do you think that Brother Obama should be held responsible and made accountable for not solving all of Africa's problems?
Only asking,
faithfully,

To add to the above article, let me say that
Mr. Obama must send his favorite toy, the drone, to deliver tons of
much needed medical equipment to Sierra Leone and Liberia.
Mr. Obama, you are not doing enough. This is a medical emergency for Liberia
and Sierra Leone. More effective and positive intervention is crucial to avoid
loss of lives.
We should each call up the White House and remind the President that this is
'a just war' - against a deadly virus.
