I've just learnt from the Dutch that I've been long-listed for the Dutch Human Rights Tulip Prize – an annual award by the Dutch in partnership with HIVOS – for defence of human rights. 165 nominations have been pared down to a long list of 30 which goes into a voting process leading ultimately to selection of and announcement of the winner on 10 December.
