I had opined that President Obama must affect the issues of governance, accountability and transparency in sub-Saharan Africa. I was savaged in this forum. The criticism ran the gamut from those who wrote that Africans should solve their problems, and that Obama had too much on his plate.
Today, I have been vindicated per the Washington Post.
