Dear Colleagues:
Season’s Greetings. I wanted to announce the publication of my first monograph, Building the Ghanaian Nation-State: Kwame Nkrumah’s Symbolic Nationalism (Palgrave Macmillan, 2014), which came out earlier this month. The book is published as part of Palgrave’s new African Histories and Modernities series, edited by Toyin Falola (University of Texas at Austin) and Matthew M. Heaton (Virginia Tech). The Forward is written by A.B. Assensoh (Professor Emeritus, Indiana University), with back-cover endorsements by Merrick Posnansky (Professor Emeritus, UCLA), Doran Ross (Director Emeritus, Fowler Museum at UCLA) and Agbenyega Tony Adedze (Illinois State University). For a description of the book, table of contents, sample chapter (the Introduction), and the index, visit http://www.palgrave.com/page/detail/building-the-ghanaian-nationstate-harcourt-fuller/?K=9781137448569.
Thanks,
Harcourt
