It is ridiculous to blame Obama Administration for not allowing "Israeli sale of attack helicopters to Nigeria" to fight Boko Haram insurgency considering the position of US government on such deals.
You cannot go through the back door to get the deal done.
Nigeria should have used her human resources and money to develop the necessary military arsenals within the state instead of running from pillar to post for arms from other countries with such a magnitude of embarrassment.
It is too little too late for this administration to get help from Western countries for now because the general elections are right at the corner. Nobody knows who will win the presidential election. But if you can read between the lines and the body language of the the US government, one can assume that they will welcome a change in leadership.

So what? By now, Nigeria should be producing her own helicopters and other military and civilian necessities rather than depending on Israel (established after Nigeria) or other countries with more patriotic and effective leaders. Instead of blaming others, we should acknowledge that most of Nigeria's problems are self-inflicted. To avoid these kinds of problem in the future, current leaders/looters should make necessary changes in thinking, planning, actions, and lifestyle.--On Mon, Jan 26, 2015 at 12:40 PM, Oluwatoyin Adepoju <oluifayantra@gmail.com> wrote:------------ Forwarded message ----------
