Congratulations, Professor Emeagwali. I don't often agree with you, but your heart is in the right place and I do respect and admire your mind. Just googled the book, every young person should be exposed to the chapters. Shame on Nigeria for deleting history as a core subject from her curriculum. The e-book is expensive at $50 but ignorance is infinitely more expensive.

Keep up the good work, sis!

Subject: USA Africa Dialogue Series - Congrats To Professor Gloria Emeagwali on Publication

Dear Professor Gloria,

Congratulations on your edited volume, African Indigenous Knowledge and the Disciplines (Sense Publishers, 2014) with the renowned Professor George Sefa Dei.  It is a much needed contribution to Nigeria and African Indigenous Knowledge.

I ordered it for my university's library and I encourage others do the same. It is vital that we promote African knowledge from across its rich and varied civilizations.  I will use it as a valuable source in my work on Indigenous Knowledge – thank you for your leadership.

Salute,

Jamaine Abidogun
