I am not surprised that the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) will not boycott Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech to Congress. Most of them did not support then Senator Barrack Hussein Obama's 2008 presidential campaign during the primaries of the Democratic Party. Most backed Hillary Clinton.
I thought Congresswoman Barbara Lee (D, CA) would have been very vocal on Netanyahu's derision of President Barrack Hussein Obama. Lee was the only member of the House of Representative to vote against former President George W. Bush's invasion of Iraq in 2003.
The actions of Netanyahu to Obama are simply RACIST. No one has any objections of Netanyahu supporting Mitt Romney for the 2012 Presidential elections, because to quote Bobby Brown it was his (Netanyahu's), "prerogative".
Netanyahu would NEVER have requested addressing a Joint session of Congress without consulting former president George W. Bush. When Bush denied Israel's request for bunker-busting bombs to attack Iran's major nuclear site at Natanz then Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and conservatives in the US did not declare that he (Bush) was giving comfort to the enemy. If Israel's security was not paramount to President Obama why did he provide $225 for Israel's Iron Dome?
So what are Benjamin's superiority justifications to Barack? According to the King James' version of the Bible, Benjamin was the twelfth son of Jacob. And his mother Rachel died during his birth.
Barack was ordered by the prophetess Deborah to assemble ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and Zebulun to kill Sisera, the commander of Jabin's army who was King of Canaan. For twenty years King Jabin had oppressed Barack's brethren the Israelites. Sisera was murdered by Jael the wife of Heber who was a Kenite. And the Israelites eventually prevailed over King Jabin.
Naphtali and Zebulun were Jacob's sixth and tenth sons respectively. Consequently, they were older than Benjamin, and in every culture he should revere his older brothers, and also respect Barack. Netanyahu must read King James Versions of Matthew 7: 12 and Philippians 2: 3 to understand the definition and significance of deference.
Netanyahu's dad the late Benizon was a scholar of Judaic history and his mother Tzila Segal studied law at Gray's Inn London.
Obama's father Barack Obama Sr. procured his Masters in Economics at Harvard while his mom Ann Durham earned her Phd in Anthropology from the University of Hawaii. Therefore the president's parents to use an American lingo were not "chopped liver" either. So whence the superiority Benjamin?
Netanyahu obtained his architecture degree from MIT, his Master of Science degree from MIT's Sloan School of Management and a Political Science degree from Harvard.
Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and the first Black to be President of the Harvard Law Review.
Those who support Netanyahu's condescension of President Obama are AWARE that there wouldn't be socio-economic or political retributions from the African-American community.
The CBC should boycott Netanyahu's speech without notifying the media, and then instruct their youngest and newest member to face the press on their decision. All African-Americans should boycott every Jewish owned business and not invest in companies with Jewish investments.
Politically, African-Americans should not vote for any Jewish candidate in any election.
But this is only an "intellectual exercise" because MOST naturalized Blacks and African-Americans are terrified of being labelled anti-Semitic and racist, even though Netanyahu has disrespected our King, Barack Hussein Obama. Also, because we are dependent on the "benevolence" of some Jews to finance our political campaigns and several institutions we cannot bite the proverbial hand that feeds us.
There is a Konekay philosophy -- from Tonkolili District in Sierra Leone-- "Or morneh eh bentieh me en karbaneh" (poverty will not impinge on my pride) which must affect every Black person in the United States.
