Dear , An Invitation for you to attend an African immigrant senior citizens event in Philadelphia There is something amazing happening in your community! It's the immigrant senior citizens special social integration event. These African immigrant senior citizens in our recent video assessment have all complaint about isolation and lack of social integration in the American society. Although many of them are above the employment age in the USA and although many of them have no guarantee sources of income, they have all expressed the need for better living condition and social involvement in the American culture. Click here to hear it in their own mouth .They said they are tired sitting home days in and days out looking through the windows without any hope of going out in the communities, shopping centers, dinner, park, movies, zoos, museums etc. Click here to see the part of the community they live. We the TGHS family thought of you to be a part of this wonderful social integration event. Although they have expressed several important areas of needs, we thought to begin this wonderful journey by making them sit comfortably at home while we find ways and means to integrate them in the American culture. We have therefore solicited for a donation of beautiful recliner chairs that they can sit in at home raking it back and forth and even making it as a relaxing bed. Since one of their main request is social integration through interaction, we thought of no one else to lead us in that direction but you. We have 25 nice recliner chairs one of which will be given to each of them on Saturday March 28 2015 between 1pm to 4pm at Victory Harvest Fellowship International church located at 2536 S 59th street, Philadelphia PA 19143 .We are inviting you to please come and escort one of our African immigrant senior citizens in the community to sit on one of the chairs which will become theirs to take home. We sincerely believe that your presence there and interaction with them will make them to feel socially part of the American society. If you have ever wondered how you can make a difference, then please join us in our efforts to support the African immigrant senior citizens in our community. Click here to see one of the senior's housing project we need help with. Seriously consider this our request and let your neighbors, friends, co-workers, and community know that you are joining Tambasons Global Human Services to support African immigrants in the United States communities in the Delaware valley. There will be a light refreshment, handshakes, photo taking and video recording of this wish granting event. Please reply us at your earliest convenience if you need special seating requirement. There will be no fundraising activities at this event although we will accept voluntary contribution from anyone. We have reserved a seat for you and selected one of the seniors that you are going to escort to his/new chair. May God bless us all as we unite to make the African immigrant seniors feel part of the American society. We are anxious to see you on Saturday at 1pm . If it is possible, we will appreciate you helping us with water/soda to drink and hoaggie/pizza to eat there.
