Dear Colleagues,
Please share with your students (undergraduate & graduate).
Attached is Missouri State University’s “Jamaica Study Away” flyer for Summer 2015. Application deadline is extended to March 20, 2015.
This program may count at Anthropology, History, or Independent Study credit. We are offering undergraduate and graduate course credit. Students will learn about the culture and history of Jamaica, while enjoying local hospitality. As part of their program, they will tour the island, attend class and guest lectures, and participate in cultural and historical film sessions. There is a Service Learning component where students may focus on community or school volunteer work.
Students do NOT need to be Missouri State University students. All Students pay In-State tuition regardless of their residency status. Please visit the Missouri State University Study Away website for more details at https://missouristate-sa.terradotta.com/index.cfm?FuseAction=Programs.ViewProgram&Program_ID=10838 .
Please share with your faculty and students. Any questions about the “Jamaica Study Away” program may be sent to Dr. Bill Wedenoja, Sociology & Anthropology, or Dr. Jamaine Abidogun, History. Your help with distributing this information to faculty and students is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Dr. Jamaine Abidogun
