PRINCE IKHIDE:
This time, I call you an "Ashanti Prince" because your posting, with documentation, is impeccable! And there you have it, just like the brilliance of VC Aluko!
By the way, did Mallam Nuhu Ribadu really make the 2011 statement, versus what he is supposed to have been made today? Is it a TRANSFORMATION of character, or a REINVENTION like the title of Professor Manning Marable's 2011 book about Malcolm X? Also, is he not the very guy from Northern Nigeria chased out of Nigeria into Oxford or the Queendom (UK) for being too principled a few years ago? Well Baba Ijebu, my great traditional Yoruba philosophical sage, would look at Mallam Ribadu's statements and say: " I tell you, sha, all politicians are made from the same Yaba clay!"
Is it not great that Mallam Ribadu is today not the INEC boss (Professor Jega) to referee the Nigerian elections on Saturday ad April 11th? Dear Great Nation of Nigeria, na wa oo for your citizens and loved ones (including Nigerians at heart like my self)!!
A.B. Assensoh.

Subject: USA Africa Dialogue Series - Ribadu says Jonathan will win!
"People say a lot about him [President Goodluck Jonathan] that is not true. For instance, I don't think that a single act of corruption can be traced to him as an individual. I know that he is the only president in recent years who did not allocate a single oil bloc to anybody, not to talk of himself. And these are the areas where you can tell corruption in its true colour. He did not allocate oil bloc to himself, family or friends up till now. He also did not give a single marginal field to himself or anybody else even though he is the only president that comes from the Niger Delta where the oil is coming from."
- Nuhu Ribadu today!
Our people, compare this nonsense to what he said in the past! This is what Mallam Ribadu said in 2011.
"Jonathan is one of the most corrupt politicians I ever investigated while at EFCC and his level of corruption as deputy governor is just disturbing. PDP is a disaster and a total failure. Change is the only panacea."
He is not the only one; compare the documented disgust and contempt Tinubu had for Buhari and now his attempt to foist him on us for deeply personal and self-serving reasons. These people are deeply evil, corrupt and unprincipled. Shebi these are the people that many of you want to die for? They are all rats from the same latrine. If anyone had told me a decade ago that Ribadu is like this I would have slapped the person. *shrugs* Which one be my own self? I am not there! Nonsense!
Oya, read the rest of the nonsense interview if you have time to waste! Hiss!

Subject: RE: INEC's Professor Jega Explains Why He Is Being Attacked!
Why I'm being attacked over card readers — Jega
Jega, who stated this while unveiling the Nigeria Civil Society Situation Room in Abuja yesterday,, maintained that it is only those that hitherto nurtured plans to fraudulently manipulate the outcome of the elections, that have been crying foul over the introduction of the technology which he said would only add credibility to the electoral process in the country.
On the issue of the card readers, Jega, who stressed that the process will help address concerns about the alteration of election figures to fraudulently confer advantage on some candidates to the detriment of others, said no such thing would happen this time around.
He continued; "We have made rigging impossible for them as there is no how the total number of votes cast at the polling unit could exceed the number of accredited persons. Such discrepancy in figures will be immediately spotted. This technology will further make it impossible for any corrupt electoral officer to connive with any politician to pad-up results", he added.
Earlier at the event, the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Suleiman Abba, who was represented by the force public relations officer, Mr. Emmanuel Ojukwu, expressed the readiness of the Nigeria Police Force to provide adequate security during and after the elections.
