Just the other day Osita Chidoka was boasting about Nigeria's freedom of information act, on BBC Hardtalk . All it would take would be for those aspiring to public office to declare their assets in advance. And then, either Goodluck Jonathan or Muhammadu Buhari would be boasting to the masses and identifying with the masses as Nigeria's poorest and most honest presidential aspirant.
Apart from Uthman dan Fodio, they could also learn from St. Francis and St. Martin de Porres.
Do not despair. The International Auditor's report on what could have gone wrong with the nation's finances was due to be published in September but has still not seen the light of day not before the election day of 14th February and will probably not see the light of day before 28th March either, because, they fear.
If only every African Country had a president like Jose Mujica!
