Falola to receive an honorary doctorate at Lincoln University
I am excited to let you know that the Management, Faculty and Board of Trustee of Lincoln University, founded in 1866, has awarded an honorary doctorate to Professor Toyin Falola, to be conferred on May 8 during their 2015 Commencement ceremony. Falola joins the pantheons of the greatest Africans in history, notables such as Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana and Nnamdi Azikiwe of Nigeria who attended Lincoln. A citation will honor Falola's preeminent status in African Studies, his unwavering commitment to Pan-Africanism, and his tireless leadership in various transformational efforts in Africa and the African Diaspora.
Do please join us at Lincoln on May 8 at 8 AM to honor this great man.
