Subject: RE: Quality education and funding dilemmas
Good morning Sir, God bless you for such a wonderful job you are doing. How one wished the policy makers are reading this and taking note. Adams Oshiomole's statement is not totally valid. Not every parent can afford paying N200,000 for their secondary school children, but just only a very few! But for me, I will not also excuse parents who are not committed! It has to be a joint responsibility between the government and parents. Not necessarily be 50:50! Also, I am advocating that people should henceforth bear the number of children they can train. I learned of the Chinese having one child are now sending them to good schools in America. For me, two or three kids at most is enough. Finally, if our political elite steal less, there is enough to give free and quantity education for our children in Nigeria. You heard the latest of Abacha loot, $372m! I did a short conversion calculation, it amounts to about N76.6b! I thought of so much that a country can do with such an amount. I also noted that Abacha couldn't be the only one leader to have looted the country treasury. I asked myself what of IBB and others? I summed that probably if not for his death maybe nothing would be heard or done about his looting! Have a great day sir! Emoruwa O.K @ FUNAAB, Abeokuta.
