i agree ogugua.
it's just that some regimes could use a helping hand to be changed.
ok, not really. i just regard with dismay how regimes--lots of
them--oppress their people or deny them democratic rights. thinking of
egypt, for instance, or zimbabwe or burundi.
on the other hand, i agree that western implants are no better, like
chad's deby, a good friend of the french.
the fundamental question becomes, which set of relations work better for
africans: those of the west, or those of china.
i would be very interested in reading informed commentary on that
question. (since i sincerely do not know the answer)
