Subject: Re: Buhari should stay more at home
Much to ponder here, Ayo. It has been explained to me why there were such confusing messages by President Buhari during his Washington visit. He needs to get his own team of advisers together.
OBJ traveled too much. Yar'Adua hardly at all. GEJ little impressed whether he traveled or stayed at home.
PMB needed to make himself known and also convey a sense of a Nigeria under strong and resourceful leadership. Sadly, damage control followed the hoped-for triumphal DC visit.
I hope your words are heeded. PMB should build s stronger platform at home. Everyone is hoping for the promised era in Nigeria during his presidency.
Regards,
Richard
