Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the 5th Pan African Congress:
Call for Papers


On behalf of the International Steering Committee of the Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the 5th Pan African Congress, I am writing to invite you to present a paper on any theme related to the 5th Pan African Congress.
General guidance

i. The commemoration will be focusing on the enduring impact of the 5th PAC in today's world



ii. The conference organisers are particularly keen to engage young people in promoting the aims of Pan Africanism both in the Diaspora and the homeland and to establish a permanent organisation for the promotion of Pan Africanism world-while



iii. Pursuant to the above aims, those presenting papers are encouraged to bear in mind issues of theory and praxis when pitching their papers.





iv. Please notify the International Secretary of the title of your paper with a synopsis of between 500 – 700 words. This should be received by ISC Secretary by July 27th at the latest.



v. The ISC has no funds to support individual participants financially, but we are currently negotiating with a group of hotels for discounts for conference delegates. The list of the hotels will be circulated in due course.
