Thank you for drawing our attention to the many inadequacies of NASS. Our parliamentarians in this 4th Republic have not been productive. They abused the powers of appropriation to award themselves frivolous allownces including one for their wardrobe. They have no conscience at all and don't care about the people or the economy. I just read that Saraki and Dogara have travelled to London to costitute their committeees in the midst of the cost cutting efforts of the President. I don't think they can promote the anti corruption revolution. We should not expect any initiative from them to change their ways. The people will have to force them to mend their ways.
I agree with you that we shoud adopt a unicameral and part time legislature. This is achievable if the are determined. Senegal recently abolished its Senate.
