In this month of religious tolerance, ah ignorance, we don't even know where Moses is buried and for surety we can dismiss the oedipal Freud
When Moses came down from the mountain his face was shining so brightly that the children of Israel were afraid to look at his face and henceforth he spoke to them from behind a mask. How did they know that it was Mosses speaking from behind the mask? How do we know? I'm not saying that it wasn't Moses, but how do I know? "Jesus loves me this I know, cause the Bible tells me so."
And, we can well ask, "But what is Islam without its predecessor, the Jewish Faith?" But that's only another question and is not supposed to solve anything.
It should be fruitful to narrow down our immediate concern to this context: primarily the religion factor in Nigeria - the promotion of tolerance and the possibilities of a peaceful co-existence, practitioners / adherents of the various major and minor religious groupings living peacefully side by side, the same religious groupings in Nigeria, the US, everywhere, variously exploited by some front figure politicians and the clusters around them.
To Samuel Zalanga, a minority's child: Could Marxism be said to be a religion of the disenfranchised and the marginalised? It seems to me to have many of the structural features of a religion…
