There is not yet a consensus that BH are terrorists and are a threat to the NE specifically and Nigeria generally
When that consensus is reached, some of the local people and leaders in the NE supporting BH will be rounded up and all these talk about negotiating with terrorists will cease.
Terrorists only understand one language.

--How long are we going to condone this nuisance when there is a bona fide Govt managing Nigerian affairs? The leadership Govt of Nigeria should at a point muster the RESOLVE to declare total war of annihilation on Boko Haram. This will include SERIOUS intelligence to identify the brains and leaderships behind Boko Haram, and the supporter and cheerleaders! In pari-pasu, there should be an all out offensive that involves both ground and air military exercises to demonstrate purposefulness and the oath to protect and defend Nigerians and the territorial integrity of the nation from both internal and external enemies.In the absence of this show of force, Nigeria is like a helpless Afghanistan without a reliable Govt or defense.
