This jostling for a position in the Buhari cabinet – loyalists who may have formerly invested heavily jostling for a position ("give me what is mine") jostling side by side with some of those who were actively in opposition to candidate Buhari in that historic Nigerian election - a game changer . Inevitably, some of the those who seek their fortunes in that special place and are still hoping for a cherished position will have their hopes dashed to the ground - or have had their hopes dashed to the ground as a result of which they will probably become disgruntled and are liable to even turn hostile, viciously and vociferously so, and will soon start expressing their dissatisfactions, dumping ...
In another context (Sierra Leone) I asked the this question of ethics : Is accepting such an appointment not the equivalent of having accepted a bribe?Listserv moderated by Toyin Falola, University of Texas at Austin
