ORGANIZATION of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, (OPEC) members are presently in dilemma over the on-going bribery and fraudulent scandal involving their first Female 66th President, Diezani Alison-Madueke, former Nigeria's Petroleum Minister that was arrested in London, given bail few days ago after she allegedly stole $1.48billion unaccounted fund belonging to Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, and a whooping sum of 27,000 Pounds cash was found in her exotic mansion in Edmund's Terrace, Westminster city, London. The money was ordered seized being 'proceeds of crime' by Judge of The Westminster Magistrate's Court on Marylebone Road, London on Monday (34 hours ago). The cash was seized under Section 295 of Proceeds of Crime Act 2012.

While her Nigerian Passport and 4 others with her had been confiscated, OPEC feeling highly embarrassed by this disgraceful act of Diezani have have summoned an Emergency Meeting, been a direction given by the Board of Governors to ensure the reputation and image of OPEC is not torn into shreds in the eyes of the global audience. This secret meeting, according to one of the directors in OPEC (who preferred anonymity) in view of the sensitivity of the subject has been slated for December 2, 2015 in the boardroom of the organization. The item of discussion is: 'DIEZANI, OPEC & FUTURE'.

Our correspondent gathered that the Board of Governors were so shocked that a highly celebrated African economist as Diezani whom they all take pride had fallen into the web of corruption, thereby dragging their reputable organization with her, after she was nabbed by Britain's National Crime Agency, NCA. His words: "We are all sad in OPEC From the Directors, Heads-of-Department, HODs and Member Nations why our first Female President could bring us shame. It is really difficult to understand. She should not have dragged us into this mess."

Tired of these shameful experiences, the Board of Governors in accordance with the provisions of OPEC Statute have prevailed on the Secretary General, Abdalla Salem El-Badri who is Head, Executive Organ of OPEC Secretariat to take full charge as the organization's Chief Executive Officer, CEO, and lead its 168th Ordinary Meeting scheduled for Vienna, Austria by December 4, 2015, where all 12 Member Nations of OPEC will be physically present. These OPEC members nations are representing Algeria, Nigeria, Ecuador, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Gabon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Venezuela

"Since the Secretariat was originally established in 1961 in Geneva, Switzerland and on April 1965 when we had our 8th (Extraordinary)OPEC Conference where a Host Agreement was reached with Government of Austria, effectively moving the Organization's Headquarters to the city of Vienna on September 1, 1965, OPEC has never been put to shame. I can assure you that far reaching decisions would be made at the end of our Emergency Meeting as directed by our Board of Governors," explained this OPEC director.

Further investigation by our correspondent among few OPEC Member Nations in Europe and Africa showed that Diezani's days are numbered in OPEC, as she is now seeing globally as 'huge liability to the Organization'.
