President Xi Jinping tackles corruption at all levels.
"Li Chongxi, former top advisor to the Chinese Communist Party's former security chief Zhou Yongkang, has been sentenced to twelve years in prison for corruption, said the state TV channel CCTV. Li is one in a series of allies to Zhou convicted since Chinese President Xi Jinping with hard hands started to tackle corruption at all levels. Zhou is the most powerfuleyt to be swept by the campaign. Last summer, he was sentenced to life in prison after being indicted for bribery, abuse of power and misappropriation of state secrets" ( SVT text)
