Re Neo-Biafran and the Nigerian state.
Dear A.Y reading your piece online today from my base here in the UK. I felt hugely compelled to contribute.
Unsure if you get it though. Everything you scripted was just sociological and right perspectives.
I'm not taking Nigeria out in retrospective term, but African continent in context. Will Buhari just by himself be able to do just that heroic action?? 2.Will his security advisers budge? ?? 3.What about the association of retired generals??? 4 in fact the inner circus igbo sycophants in the corridors of power itself.
I'm not sure if you understand how a divided house the Ohanaeze nd igbo is presently???,
Your imagination of a near systemic unified demand similitude of the Arab spring is not the agitation for a Biafran state.
First the communal wealth must be equitably spread out, the igbos must first re - engineer the S.E regional economic opportunity by developing their capitalism and unity resources fully; then using that advantage to create a socialist demand for self determinate region.
Their situation is going to turn out like, South Sudan, as the economy play out right now.
Let me not join the sycophantic utterance of other myopic Nigerians, several years of economic negligence cannot be ameliorated in months. We all need the power of strategic partnership and peaceful coexistence for now, then later we can copy the Soviet style of disintegration when each state can self exist.
The youths and indeed the very young children of SE cannot be allowed to suffer unnecessary sacrifice of stupid unorganised cry for independent.
The western world promised south Sudan heaven on earth during the struggles, just to find a market for their arms and mercenaries. Now they face the hardships alone only children and mothers face the damn effect of war.
No nation is ripe for another form of violence or war in this new age, we only all have to survive using what we have to create the lifestyle we wants for ourselves.
Like a snail by perseverance it also got into the Noah's ark. Today nations make wealth out of the meats, shells, liquid juice and more.
My brother you meant well, but do our leaders care????
Well done and God bless Nigeria
Sincerely
Dr tony wemton
