Rasta Khoisan (Bushman)
https://youtu.be/yxtX9uwKqqg
Two South Africans of Khoisan identity talk about their history,
beliefs and hopes.
I must say that this interview was a revelation to me. I never realized
that there were Khoisan who were Rastas, before then.
The interviewees had some praise for Mbeki for facilitating some land
but concluded that much more had to be done for true accessibility.
I was also surprised at their embrace of the term Bushman. For the interviewees
Bushman was synonymous with a natural life, authentic local culture
and an ancestral legacy. "We love the Bush" said one of the interviewees.
