Thanks for sharing Prof. I fully agree with your position that the President needs intellectuals around him, whose forte will be to advise him on the basis of evidenced based research, I was particularly wary of Largarde's visit almost immediately after the Government presented the budget for 2016. Despite her denials of any intention to talk about loans, her subsequent utterances on the need for reform, monetary management and all that are nothing short of a school master who is tutoring a primary school pupil. As I noted in my comment to a Punch news item on her visit, the only value of such visit is if she can pressurize the Western Governments to release our stolen money with them.
