Africa Analyst
We are seeking a highly qualified Africa Analyst, focussing on East Africa, to join our Oxford-based team. The role involves delivering authoritative analysis of political, security, economic, business and social developments in Sub-Saharan Africa to clients in government, NGOs, multinational corporations and the financial sector. While the position requires a particular knowledge of East Africa, the successful candidate will be instrumental in developing our macro risk coverage across the continent.
The position involves:
- commissioning, writing and editing macro risk analysis for the firm's flagship publication, the Daily Brief;
- managing and developing a network of expert external contributors;
- representing the Africa desk with clients in conference calls and personal briefings, and with the broadcast media;
- contributing regional expertise to the Analysis division's other macro risk products;
