No, Shuwa Arab and Bageri/Gerawa are entirely different people. It is the Gere people (Sir Abubkar Tafawa Balewa's ethnic group) that Hausa people call Bageri for singular and Gerawa for plural. Bagara are camel-owning Arabs, and many Shuwa Arabs are Bagara so the two are sometimes used interchangeably.
