It gives me great pleasure to announce to our USAfrica dialogue family that one of us, Dr. Farooq Kperogi of Kennessaw State University, USA, has been promoted to the rank of Associate Professor with tenure. 

Dr. Kperogi did it in record time too, coming up for early tenure and marching smoothly into that exclusive club of those with secured lifetime appointments, a process that is usually a minefield of complications.
