I would like to draw your attention to the fact that our leaders WILL only do what God gives them the grace to do. It is this same God that gave Awolowo the wisdom but did not give him the opportunity to implement it. As you are already aware, the leaders are not going to spend their personal money to manage Nigeria. It is this our commonwealth they will make use of and will spend it wisely when nigerians change in their ways of life.
You can imagine in the book of Genesis 6:5&6 God said it grieved Him at His heart that He created man because man's daily thoughts are evil. But God has promised that He will not destroy the world with water and fire again and the results of our wicked life styles are the disasters we see daily. Not only Nigeria but world over.
Your write up on this subject is fantastic but instead of about learning from the past leaders I would rather expect the media to emphasise on change of attitude in the ways Nigerian's are doing things.
Believe it or not the Change we all clamoured for is here. All we need to do is to change so that we can all experience the change. We did not ask God to create us, for that simple reason His expectation is for us to do His will. We cannot do our personal will and enjoy God. You can see God provided money, huge money for that matter, He made our leaders to steal the money and put the money on investments they cannot manage. What would anybody eat or drink with billions of naira/dollars?
Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, with his doctorate degree could not do anything to better the life of Nigerians even his own people the bayelsians.
Please help talk to people in the media to come up with writeups that will make nigerians to change their ways so that they can experience the change they all clamoured for.
