Almost correct: even in the context of globalised christi-anity tand al-islam the event would not have been explicitly reported as "primitive" and "satanic", but of course that too would have been implied in their exotica reports, that Western Civilisation had still not succeeded in weaning Africans from toasting their ancient gods and godesses and / or still sacrificing animals or humans to them...
